The second working group, which will principally comprise psychiatrists and doctors, will study in greater detail the short and long-term effects, both for the individual and for society, of blindness &a compared with other injuries typically sustained on the battlefield. The information collected can then be used for a more thorough discussion of the legal and policy implications of the development of these weapons.
